About the Gear Construction For All is independent, individually designed, and hand built. These bags are built in a traditional messenger style: sturdy yet not structured, very flexible, and lightweight, allowing for maximum stuffing capabilities. Every bag is unique and made to order. This whole project started as a result of my own desire for the perfect bag: I needed a diaper bag that was lightweight, durable, washable, gorgeous, affordable, and not obviously a diaper bag. Something that I could carry from the park to the play date and then to evening classes. The result was my original (and still favorite!) messenger bag in the pink tattoo print with a handy convertible strap system that went easily from shoulder to stroller, and back again. Since then I've built legions of beautiful bags, and look forward to building one for you too!
About the Maker Hello! My name is Jen St.Cyr and I personally design, cut, assemble and sew every bag in a craft mine located under a coffee powered house in Seattle. My crafting pedigree starts generations ago among the great-great-great grandmothers who quilted, mended, and ruled the roost in a tiny little Gulf town way down south. I owe all my skill to my mother and grandmother who instilled me with a lifetime of arts and crafts. I enjoy the city, being creative, living simply and conscientiously, and raising two exuberant kids with the love of my life.
